Experience
the unspoiled, tranquil, natural beauty of the west coast
of British Columbia. Listen to the waves as they lap the beach
a few meters from the sun deck outside your room. Stroll along
miles of shoreline, watch the bald eagles soar above seals
basking on the rocks, cast your line at a passing salmon or
harvest the clams and oysters waiting just steps from your
door.
Bird watchers will find excellent birding opportunities at
Copes Islander B & B. Our rooms offer great views of the
beach and ocean which often teams with shorebirds and other
marine life. A pair of bald eagles can usually be seen perching
in the trees behind our home or on the tide marker just off
shore from the beach. The 2nd highest concentration of over-wintering
waterfowl in B. C. is here including 10 species of gulls and
terns, 16 types of diving ducks, nine dabbling ducks and 13
species of raptors.
