Long Range Adventure Hostel is located in beautiful Sally's Cove, in Gros Morne National Park, Newfoundland. Off site accommodation is also available. We are strategically located on the Bonavista Peninsula, one of Newfoundland's most scenic tourism areas with access to hundreds of miles of open country, trails, logging roads and abandoned railway. There is an endless number of rivers, ponds, lakes, bogs, barrens and forest areas. No matter what season it is, this is the ideal destination for a relaxing getaway where you can have a great time ATVing, snowmobiling, fishing, hunting, hiking, camping or canoeing.

CANOEING ADVENTURES - The many inland lakes, ponds and rivers offer unlimited choices for a canoe adventure for you or the whole family. Take a leisurely paddle on one of the many waterways in Newfoundland and enjoy the sights, sounds and peacefulness. Bring your camera to take photos of the spectacular scenery and abundant wildlife. Throw in your fishing rod and we'll have a go at the trout.

The Ocean Side Country Lodge is easily accessible by road in the central part of Newfoundland. with the beautiful Atlantic Ocean at our front door and the wilderness at our back door. Canoeing Tour - Go canoeing through the many pristine ponds and lakes of the raw unspoiled wilderness in central Newfoundland. This is a great chance to photograph the many species of wildlife in this area. You can also fish for trout or salmon which are abundant in these waters.

Sea Kayaking Tour - The many bays and inlets provide an excellent environment for sea kayaking. The sea abounds with plankton and small fish, the basis for an ecosystem supporting some of the largest and most diverse sea bird colonies in the world. The abundance of food attracts many species of whales, including North Americas largest summer concentration of humpback whales. Icebergs; the abundance of these spectacular sculptures has given this area the name “Iceberg Alley.
