Treeline Lodge is located about 250 km northeast of Yellowknife, about a 1.3 hr. flight by Beaver floatplane, or 1 hr. in a Twin Otter. It is in the Northwest Territories, the Central Barrenlands, in the transition zone between taiga and tundra. Treeline Lodge has been adapted into a full-service lodge, overlooking Matthews Lake. Matthews Lake is home to several species of game fish, including arctic grayling, whitefish, northern pike, and the mighty lake trout. We employ catch-and-release fishing methods to insure healthy populations for years to come. All fishing is unguided, but our staff will supply maps of fishing "hot spots" and will assist you with the boat.

We can also arrange fly-out sport fishing trips from Treeline, including overnight or multi-day trips to our other outpost camps, such as Burnside River Lodge, Lac du Rocher, or Esker Camp on Pellatt Lake.
