on the right, like the tree-lined, country road, twists and

are seven cottages nestled among the hardwood trees (four
two-bedroom and three single-bedroom), each on their own lot
for added privacy.. Each 'housekeeping' unit has everything
you need for a family vacation. Guests
have free access to our fleet of canoes, pedal boats and bicycles.
There are horseshoes to pitch, trout ponds to investigate,
a hiking trail and playground to explore, an outdoor volleyball
court and a heated, inground swimming pool. There are nany
area attractions to see.
Birding
enthusiasts will love the opportunity to count and record
common and often rare species of birds - right on the premises!
There are ring-necked pheasants, spruce and ruffed grouse,
downy and hairy woodpeckers, flickers, yellow warblers, chipping
sparrows, dark-eyed juncos and purple finches just to mention
a few. And for the more serious birders, Shelburne County
offers eight of the most spectacular birding destinations
in the province - all just a short drive from Clyde River

The woodland trails of Stonehame can be breathtaking. The
Fitzpatrick Trail is ranked in the top 5 trails in Nova Scotia
