Fishing is excellent in Deer Lake for lake trout, small mouth bass, northern pike and perch.Our spacious housekeeping two bedroom log cottages, each offering a spectacular view of the lake are reasonably priced and fully equipped for your comfort.

This area is ideal for bird watching. Black backed woodpeckers, Canada jays, ravens, brown creepers, winter and house wrens, sparrow hawks (kestrels), orioles, broad winged hawks, herring gulls, white-throated sparrows, thrushes, cedar wax wings, kinglets, warblers, grosbeaks, indigo buntings, wood ducks and the shy blue heron are among the few that can be viewed in their natural habitat.
