Buttermilk Falls Resort is a 4 season family resort located on a quiet bay on pristine Boshkung Lake, just north of Minden in the Haliburton Highlands with great year round fishing for lake trout, bass, and whitefish.

Our comfortable cottages are fully equipped and will each sleep eight people. We have a childrens playground, swimming raft with slide, shuffleboard, horseshoes, complimentary canoes, rowboats and paddle boat. We are within 20 minutes of 5 golf courses.


Carpenter Lake -Algoma

 

Carpenter Lake Cabins is a clean, quiet and comfortable place.  Here, you can relax, spend time with family and do outdoor things in the wilderness.  The area has a good beach where you can swim and has hiking trails that lead to scenic lookouts and along rivers to waterfalls.  There are boats on a dozen nearby lakes where you can fish for brook trout, lake trout, pike and bass.

Carpenter Lake Cabins is situated in the Algoma Highlands 90 kilometres east of Sault Ste Marie, Ontario and is accessible by road.   It offers spacious, quality housekeeping cabins with decks overlooking the lake.  Each cabin comes with a boat on Carpenter Lake and free use of boats on remote lakes.  We are open May into November and for the snowmobile enthusiast in February.

Chapleau - Algoma


Moose Horn Lodge is located on beautiful McLennan Lake in the remote wilderness region of Chapleau, Ontario. The Chapleau River and surrounding lakes produce walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass, perch, lake trout and brook trout. Our log style fully equipped cottages are comfortable and our deluxe units are top shelf. Relax at the main lodge. Kids can fish from the shore, swim, hike or use our play-center.

We offer bear viewing in their natural habitat and there is a good chance of seeing moose, lynx, bald eagles, osprey, wolves and maybe the very rare cougar.
